The Rubies is approvable. When I did the above pics I used the visor that came with the helmet but its just too light.

I now have a shield from a protective face shield (link below). They seem to be the perfect darkens. But if you are planning on doing a red visor then I would get the red gel and lay it over the original and it will make it darker. I tried that with the new one and I could not see out it was too dark. I tried using Velcro so I could take it in and out but it make it stand off the helmet too much so I have just used gorilla tape. If I have to take it out I can but its not going anyplace.

Also take into account the Rubies helmet is I think the largest of the helmets so if you are not overly large it may start to look massive on you. I'm 6'6" at 300lbls to give you some reference to the pics I posted earlier.
