What is the best Duplicolor paint for a ROTJ RG helmet?

I´m builing on my rubies and make some modifications.
I also don´t like the paintjob because there are many flaws under the paint.
But I like the paint that Rubies used.Any tips which Duplicolor or other color is matching this?

A lot will depend on the color of the fabric that you are trying to match.... your best bet is to have a swatch of the fabric with you when you go to look at the paint and get one that matches as closely as possible

That's fair enough... I find that the rustoleum fire red is one of the best matches out there

Like others suggested, I took my robes to the store and found a color that matched. I want to say mine was Cherry Red or something along those lines. If you're only using it for display just take a screen shot from movie and find the color that matches. It'll only look weird when put next to appropriate red robes if it's off and what are the odds someone walks next to your display wearing robes but not the helmet

If you like the color then take the helmet to a paint shop. They normally have color cards .
Search for the match and then you can buy the right color directly there.

I will go to a colorshop tomorrow.Hope they have the right color.In the german Brandon Arlinger OT costumes book they said the color is "Liebesapfelrot".
What is the englisch name for that color?I have not the englisch version of the book.

The book calls it "Candy Apple Red"

Thanks...but with this name they had no color.But I bought a near color of the rubies one...Ralley Red.I must see how it looks sprayed on the helmet.

Mine when I took it to CarStar and they painted it, match to the robes was actually Ford Truck Red
