Helmet arrived a few days ago! If you all wouldn't mind taking a look and let me know how it looks and what (if anything) needs to be done in order to pass 501st approval!
Thanks!

Re: Helmet has arrived!!!
The color has to match the color of your outer robe.
Re: Helmet has arrived!!!
As Sascha_Wilsing said, the color of the helmet has to match as closely as possible the color of the velvet for the outer robe. Do you already have velvet? If so can you take a natural light picture (outdoors if possible, with no flash) and can provide feedback on it.
Other than that, I think the structure of the helmet looks good, and the visor is looking good too.

Haven't started the robe yet. Wanted to get the lid first, now it's time to go shopping for fabric. Thanks guys, will post swatches.
Re: Helmet has arrived!!!
Looks better than mine, since mine arrived with the paint all scratched up.

Depending on how the visor is mounted, does it sit right flush with the helmet?
If sits right flush, and is in any ways adjustable, I'd suggest leaving a small gap between the visor and the helmet. This will help a lot with airflow. Something as simple as putting a small washer or two strategically could do the trick. But it will make a world of difference when you are in the helmet and it's getting hot and muggy in there. Also helps keep the visor from fogging up a bit too.

There is a small gap between the visor and front. I will try the washer trick. I have also ordered a small fan. My husband has a trooper helmet so,I am learning from his too.
