Although I write, this foro represents the project of two brothers, from Malaga (Spain), to make us two Shadow Guard. Our names are Juampi (Nick: Juampitroop) and Raúl (which is not yet registered).

We have been working on this project for months.

We already have the pieces for the armor, belts, gloves, kama, helmets, undersuit, boots and pikas.
We are going to be describing part by part.

Armor:
We are working the pieces. We are trimming the edges, sanding and we have a new layer of fiberglass.











Vambrace
We have to glue both pieces together to make it one




Helmets:
We have covered some holes and sanded. They are painted.





Urdersuit and Kama:
We had to do some retouching




Pika:
We have added the light systems




Boots:



We would finish sanding the rest of the pieces and paint them to later go coupled to our body.
As soon as we have more progress we will put them.

I present again new advances, possibly the photos to belong to the 501st.

For the vrebraces, we had to work them a lot, since they came in separate pieces and did not fit very well both pieces. We have filled the gap with fiberglass and sanding a lot.















The plate of the abdomen in one of the costumes also cost us a lot since the resin fell in some parts and had to be touched up several times to make it look good. Obviously sanding is important, as always.





He covers the insteps (Spats), they came in a piece not molded, so we gave him shape and paint.











Then we have painted all the pieces with lots of love.







I present the photos of the possible belong to 501st. The Kama was not ironed (which it already is). The parts, by the friction, and being of resin, are easily scratched, raising the painting. Which forces us to have to retouch the painting after putting it on.

To avoid this, we are covering velvet parts inside.

Please look after the visor of Raul.
There seems to be a huge gap.
And please watch the correct placing of the abdominal plate.
Maybe you can fix it with velcro on the suit.

Here are the modifications made.

-Abdomen plate centered
-Viewfinder without leaving a hole in the hull
-Also my GML recommended to raise my shoulders
