OK new seamstress finished off lining to the new front arm slits. She also fixed up some lining around the shoulders and tidied up hemline. She is so good to work with. I will take some approval photos tomorrow and see how we go. Very happy with new arms slits as its easier to move in now and doesn't bunch up at the shoulders. I took these photos looking in a mirror so sorry for dirty mirror, but it shows how it looks now. The shoulder pads are being added tomorrow.

Let me know what you think of it as all feedback has been most helpful.

Another day and yet another seamstress. After a few hiccups I decided it was time to change to a professional seamstress and she knew about 501st CRL pros and cons as she helped with a Darth Vader build.

On a scorching hot day, I put the robes on, then she pinned the robe onto me, added some shoulder pads, and disassembled and reassembled side pieces and neckline so that my arms are coming out of front and not at the sides.

It will be a couple of weeks before its finally put together and sewn up as she is working on wedding dresses, but I am grateful and very prepared to wait as she has been the best seamstress so far of the three.

Let me know from the latest photos what you think. The hemline is yet to be fixed as she is going to first sew it together then will measure it on me so its an inch off the ground all the way around.

It is easier to wear and looks more streamlined. This is the best it has looked since I started!

On other forum it was noted helmet sat a bit high off shoulders. So I removed inner padding to compensate. Will send more photos once the Robe has been sewn completely.

Also may add thicker shoulder pads if needed. It's on it's way to completion.

To keep me sane during this waiting period, I've started a new build. An ANH Reserve Pilot which will eventually become a Tie Pilot. Going from red to black.

Quick update. Robes all sewn up now by new professional seamstress. She's a gem indeed. Much better than previous one. We are now working on the shoulders. They need some padding to streamline with helmet. Looks fantastic but I won't post photos yet until it's done.

Approval photos sent on 21st Jan and was approved on 22nd Jan. Thanks for all the support from members online and offline. It's been a 3 month rollercoaster challenge but it was well worth it.
