What do I need to start building a Shadow

Hello and good morning! I'm very interested in building a Shadow Guard costume and looking forward to join the 501st. I need help from you, guys! Where do I start? I was planning on buying the cheap stuff first and then buy the expensive materials. I hope you could help me. Thanks!

The cheapest will be the black overall and gloves.
Then belt and kama.
Then armor helmet and pike.

Questions about the kama.
Where do I buy one?
The kama goes attached or sewed into the belt?

Most attach it with velcro in the belt.

The belt is a 2 inch wide dyed black with two grooves on the edges.
