If anyone could PM me or link me to an under robes pattern or stockpile of reference photos id be much appreciative.

I'm still working on mine, so I'm not a guru yet, but I've found it very closely resembles a simple thawb robe. There are number of patterns and pictures of a thawb online that I've found. I worked with the seamstress I'll be using (as I can't sew for the life of me) that will hopefully allow it to be fit over my head, so as not to require a zipper/seam. If not, one will be getting added onto the back.

I think you'll find that your local fabric store will have some Passion Play patterns available at reasonable prices. Check out the shepherd's robes, etc...

I saw this suggested elsewhere on here, but check out McCall's M2060 pattern. I may use that for folks wanting under robes done.

The underrobe pattern would be your basic thawb pattern.
