Issues Understanding the Pattern

Post by MrArmyAnt »

I am following the pattern at http://www.forcepike.net/forum/viewtopi ... =26&t=1977

Between images and various 501st members, I am having issues seeing whether the slits are supposed to be on the front or back for the arms. The pattern seems to show the front, while other members (including the guy who did the upper pattern) seems to open on the front. Also, for the 175cm+ pattern, how does the green and red work sewn together? I'm having some perspective issues.

The green line is the seam. Think of the seam you see on a shirt. That should help you out. If you have any other questions on the robes. We can meet up as your local to me.

I've got some images for the pattern and the arm slits.

As the front robe covers the back robe the arm slits appear to be behind the shoulders, not the front.

Hi! I can send you some pictures with more detail of the shoulder seam. They are the references that I took from Starguard and Hilldegar to my outer:

You can also look at pictures of my WIP:
