Securing Armor for Shadow Guard

Ok, I have a question in regards to securing the Shadow Guard armor to my undersuit. The CRL's says "All body armor components must be secured to the costumer’s bodysuit by either 1) harness/strapping system, 2) Velcro/Snaps, and cannot hang free." My question is this: Can I use magnets to hold the armor on? My idea is to glue magnets to the undersides of the armor and then have another magnet underneath my undersuit. These are the magnets I was thinking of using:

The strapping system is actually connected to the armor when it done and never actually attaches to the suit. The velcro technique would be used if you where attaching the shoulders to the suit itself. In all honesty I really don't know how well your magnets would hold up with the items mounted by that with the helmet also adding to weight to it. The magnet concept kinda really learns towards the free hang.

If you dont want to sew anything to your suit you can use the strapping system.
If you want to use magnets that are not fixed to the suit you probably get problems with loosing the right position of the armor parts.

What is this strapping system? Can someone either please explain it to me or provide a link to somewhere that shows it?

Strapping system is pretty much how Storm troopers attach their shoulder to their armor via of nylon webbing.

I've seen our TK's using elastic bands to hold their shoulder armor on before. Is that what you are talking about?

What's the best way to secure the spats and the shin guards to the boots? Also elastic bands?

Elastic bands like A stormtrooper does for their Hand guards. The only other option would be velco but folks tend to use boots for more than one costume.
