New Melbourne Royal Guard - WIP

Post by FoxFX »

Hey Guys & Gals,

So I have started with my AOTC Royal Guard Costume - Yay, finally !

My bucket arrived today and Im somewhat happy with it - but I am going to make some adjustments to the visor, re-sand it and get it painted again to match the fabric I choose for the cloak.

Regards,

Adam

P.S - For some reason I cannot upload any pics :aww: I get this error:

Could not upload attachment to ./files/11593_e7de087e5eb291488af823ec791c3fbf.

You can't upload Pictures directly here. You have to upload them on another Website and share the link.

Hey Guys & Gals,

Today I had a quick look at some Red Velvets .......... hmmmm alot of them are a 4 way stretch which is useless for this build. The reason being over time with the weight of the robe, the robe will stretch. I may consider a two way fabric on the horizontal, so that the fabric won't stretch by gravity. Ultimately it would be better for a non-stretch velvet, which I think I have found and great colour - $55.00 per metre Posted Image

Here are some colours from todays adventures.
