dear friends,

if started the building of my Shadow Guard.
here´s the pic of the Shins and the Toes....

(shoes need a little more cleaning, i know )

the reference for the shins is the pic in the CRLs. The Toes were made on Jango Fett Pepakura-Files (written in the CRLs that the Toes have to be the shape of Jango Fett´s).

Hope you´ll like it so far !!!!

I got an actual template for the boot top to send to be more accurate. As they are a slight style different than jangos.

Thanks Stephen for correcting this. I didnt realize it and we are happy that you share your knowledge of the TFU shadow guard.

I'll see If I can't get a side by side reference to show in the next day.

The one you posted are pulled to soft at the edges. I have this pic of Jango Fett shine guards for reference. And a pic posted by Stephen as a reference from the video game. Not the same only the "style" is similar.

for my shins i took this pic for reference:


it´s from the CRLs.
i´ll build my SG after the actuall CRLs, `cause what they are written for ?
if my shins are really wrong, please remove the pic from the CRLs so that no other builder makes the same mistake like me and is looking there how to build the costume. (same with the TOEs... written is Jango-Style, one reply here says they are not... i´m confused !!!)

The calf guards are fine. The top of foot cover is different. It's just placed how jangos is. Text will be updated to say top of foot covering.

Dont know for sure what exactly happenend to my comment. I think i have accidently deleted it instead of editing.

But like Stephen said the CRL is not finished yet. We are sorry that there are still some misunderstandings between picture and text.
We are currently working on the CRL. So the good is that we now see another problem. The bad part is that is has happenend to you.

So if you start any other part of the armor please dont take the pictures as a standard given.

first, sorry for my english !!!

here´re some new pics of what if done till yet....

these are my shoulderbells....

still need a little more shapening. for theses i looked into the other treads of the other SG builds. then i made some copies of my TK-shoulders with resin and grinded the middlestrap down.

this pics is how it looks from the boots to the belt now....with gloves and gaunlets.
