Has anyone had success dying boots red that werent red to begin with? Finding red suede boots for a size US 12 online has proven to be dificult.

Also, Has anyone made there own boots? I know soles and red suede can be purchased, they just need to be put together.

Will the TR boots from IB pass imspection?

I looked very seriously into dying my existing suede boots and found that the colour was highly unlikely to stay on the boot. Instead, i opted for some boots off ebay that others I know have used.

However, the imperial boots ones look really good, and i know people are pleased with their tk boots.

I haven't seen someone dye their suede boots red, but Angelus appears to make suede dye for shoes/boots.

There are different "red" colors, which is nice if someone was trying to match their RG boot and Outer Robe Red color.

Angelus (the company) gets excellent reviews and is what many folks including myself have used to paint their TK/TD boots white. Maybe someone should give it a try and let us know if this is a good option.
