The fact that the bright lighting is behind him can alter what the color looks like. Thats why its best to use a neutral back drop when taking photos.

I'm going to try getting done automotive paint tomorrow and do a sample and see how it looks. The last quote I got to paint it was $500 and after I stop belly laughing I told him thanks but no thanks.

A quote like that just means the guy didn't want to do it and told you a crazy high amount. We had something like that when we got a quote to strip and stain our deck last year, it was 3 times the amount of the other 2 quotes.
