inner lining questions

So I was going through the members roster for the Red guard to get ideas for my costume. One thing I noticed On the outer robe there's a difference is where the inner lining is hemmed. Some are hemmed to the edge where the two fabrics meet. some are not. Is there a right way or wrong way doing this? how is the inner lining sewn to the red side of the robe?

It is better to go from actual screen used costumes from Return of the Jedi, Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith references. Due to member costumes spanning a vast time period in the legion. Which costume where you interested in and we can guide you the right direction.

This would be what your looking for then.
Black Boots.
The robe design would be that of a Cloak with the front section over lapping over like an apron as an example.

The Outer robe is done in the correct style as of the movie reference. You would need to match the gloves to that to the movie reference as shown, which is closer to the underrobe fabric than the Outer Robe.

okay, well i have this same question and I do not seem to think it was answered, but then maybe I am just missing something. I am making the AOTC Red Guard and I would like to know if the lining for the outer robes should be to the length of the outer or is there an inch hem or ??

The lining on the outer robes would go down to the end of the robes. The inner robes are just a tad shorter so as not to show them under the outerrobes.
