Looking good... you may want to darken up the lense a bit though since we can still see your face through it.

Hi folks!
Through this post I would like to show you the progress of my Royal Guard costume.

I didn't show you photos of the inner fabric as it is the same as my partners'. I show you a photo where you can see the helmet and the fabrics together to appreciate the wonderful contrast among them. I'd like to make clear that the piece on the right side is for the gloves and despite it looks lighter, it really has the same colour. I will try to take a better photo in order to show you they share the same colour.

The inner robe is almost finished, I only have left the hem to sew it at the end to adapt it to the appropriate size.

Here I show you the different tests we have done:

TEST 1:

The central line is not a seam, it is only a guide to locate the centre of the robe. At the beginning the shoulders were a little bit low so we adjust several things to fit better.

TEST 2:

Here, everything is well adjusted and ready to be sewn. The belt just needed the Velcro fastener.

TEST 3

And here is the robe almost finished with just the hem unstitched. I consider the photos are not good enough so I will try to take others better, but I wanted to make you aware of my recent progress.
Next week I hope to post pictures of the outer test.
The pike is also in process.

And that's all folks! :tr:
