StarGuard Royal AOTC on the making

Hello there everyone!

I'm an aspirant for the Spanish Garrison! I have been a few months reading a lot of forums and talking with royals, and I started making my costume proves.

Today I start this topic to show you my outer proves, made with a cheap tissue. I want to get a good look first to cut the red velvet. So this photos are to show you the concept about the shoulders. The front overlaps the shoulders and the arms come out like the ones in the ROTJ.

What do you think? :D

As posted in the discussion here:

http://www.forcepike.net/forum/viewtopi ... =12&t=1750

The overlapping shoulder is from a pre-production version that was not used. The correct pattern for the robe is also listed in the discussion along with a visual reference direct from the LFL archives.

As Leigh Michaels told me when he shaw this exactly same photographs

"it's a very good start and much better than some I have seen submitted for approval already. The flat front just gives it the cleaner appearance"

So...I think is better to go on what our Detachment CO is saying.

Hi guys!

today I ask you about the boots. I've found these boots and I wonder if they could work.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

The sole of that boot is not any good for the guard. It is much too thick. you need boots that have a thinner sole without the ribbing and a conservative heel.

The textured leather is not acceptable for these boots, nor is the way the toe is separated with stitching.

Not sure what your size is, but these might be ok. Stripes would be able to tell you though:

I asked Leigh Michaels about this last boots ..
"As long as the leather is not textured and there is no visible zipper they should work".
