Hi there!!!

This is the last test of the outer linning. We corrected thinks that didn't look good.
So, you can see the final length of the outer, the chest area without rare seams like the last time, and the belt finished.

And now yes! let's cut velvet XD

Hi there!!!

Today I post the photos with the velvet. The lining was approved by our CO, and now we have cut the velvet.

You can see the correct color of my velvet in the first photo (better light than others photos) beside mi helmet. Same red!

The low of the costume must to be finished.

Stripes, I wait your verdict. I hope all be OK. :)

Stripes!!! Thanks so much!!! I hope get the finished costume soon. I'm so nervous.

Cabbagefarmer! nooo, I knew a dressmaker who, two years ago, made to me a costume for venice carnival... The result was so spectacular that I didn't think twice when I needed a dressmaker for the Royal Guard costume. She is a old woman and a genius with needle and the scissors.

Thanks you! ;) :trsuit:

This is the best Royal Guard costume I have ever seen. It is the same as the movies. Excellent job.

Of course!

My outer robe is os 100% cotton red velvet. I bought it on this website of Spain: http://rycfabrics.com/
My inner robe and lining of outer robe is of twill, I bought it in a store of Spain they have not website.

My royal guards friends used for theirs linings and inner robes another fabric, called stretch. Both are OK.
