So now since you have the CAD up and running you are going to lathe some aluminum and make the right :trsuit:

Those are sweet!!!! The hyperspace picture is the one I used for my drawing. The renders will be a big help too.
I've thought about looking into having this made but I bet it would cost $$$$$$$.

Yeah a good lathe version of this weapon is going to be some major coinage. But it gives us basic standards to at least set up for more affordable mock ups. My first mock up working saberpike set me back around $200 US. My second stunt saberpike that is not functional without blade I can knock out for around $50.

I'm going to be sending a print for my lightsaber to the guys over at Custom Saber Shop in a few months. I think I'll attach a detail of one of the grip sections and see how much that would cost to mill.

I know cause of the detailing of the machined pieces its not going to be a cheap weapon thats for sure. But is never cheap on something that is that elaborate. Also the weapon is black and not silver as hasbro had made it.

Great renders - we need to come up with something, I keep looking at pieces and keep scratching my head.

Did you hear anything back from Custom Saber Shop yet.

No, my plans (and funding) to have a saber made have been cut short and I never sent these along on their own. There's a guy who does custom work that's not too far from me. I might ask him to give me a price but I'm just going to stick with the cast nylon I mentioned earlier.
