Looking at various pics an CRLs for the SG there helmets def look different shapre wise to me, smaller on the sides an bottom. So do most people who do SG just modify a RG helmet or are there SG helmets available out there. Cause if I have to modify a RG helmet that would be a first.

There is no mandatory requirement to cut the helmet for a shadow guard to meet minimum standards for approval.
