Shadow guard build DZ10579

Im working on my shadow guard next - I was wondering how the shoulder looks? and any other suggestions
Also where do I find the pattern for a Kama and I know its not meant for approval what material should the robe be made out of?

By robe are you talking about a robe like the movie Guards wear? If so I'd say the material should be the same as movie guards only black instead of red. Others will need to answer your other questions.

Thanks - I was thinking black but was wondering what shade of black like crushed velvet? Etc I've got a 60% off coupon for jo-ann fabric this week

Crushed Velvet is not acceptable for 501st membership. The only acceptable fabrics are Velvet or Velveteen.

The really plush velvet I see at Joanns near me is a nice red (never seen black) and that runs about $30/yard. 60% off would make the cost a little more manageable.

I would advise you to get samples of fabric from distinctivefabrics.com. I got my material(velveteen) from them and I loved the shade of the red. I bet the black will look awesome. I went with velveteen because theirs is machine-washable!
