Redpaint and KattaKs red and blue TFU guard builds

Hi all,
after our big event here over the may 4th weekend my wife and I decided that we wanted to do TFU guards. I've always liked the look of the Senate guards, and as these are the only 501st versions I went with that while my wife chose royal guard version as she will be doing a normal TR as well at some stage.
Luckily we managed to get hold of 2 kits of viratecks which took care of those parts.
This past weekend I got most of the pieces cut out and ready for sanding the edges.
My wife already has a bucket, but I'll need to wait for a little while to get mine.
I've got some feelers out on possible TK chest and back pieces.
Still need to source the flight suit, gloves and boots, but I'm not in a rush, yet.
Another garrison trooper who is going to do one as well is helping on the saberpike.
A couple of questions. For the red guard version, would a red mirrored visor be alright or should it be black.
And here's a pic of my progress on my armour so far.
