So my wife has been working on her TR for a while now. We just got the last bits of her costume in from Argentina today.

Looks like we've got some padding to do but overall not too bad.

Key things I notice first, needs padding in the back to take up the gap in her helmet.

Same with the shoulders.

The robes are pretty much floor length, might need to be hemmed an inch or so, but nothing terrible.

Thoughts, opinions, rantings?

Biggest thing I am seeing is the length of the robes. Seems like a lot more than an inch on the ground and this will create a major tripping hazard. Definitely need to shorten them.

Might help the overall appearance if the shoulders are padded to help bring the robes out wider at the shoulders. This might also help with the gap in the back.

Do the shoulder padding first...then the back and afterwards you'll know how much to hem the bottom. Other than that it looks great.

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated.

I've also got a garrison mate who is willing to trade his Don Post helmet for her Rubies. As I understand the Don Post runs a bit smaller than the Rubies, would that be an accurate statement?

The Don Post is much smaller than the Rubies... though the Don Post is also more prone to having issues with heat, warping, cracking, etc due to the age of the helmets

Interesting, I know I remember reading that, and I'm wondering if I could take my friend Darth Stone into helping me do some fiberglass reinforcement to help in that department.

Definitely food for thought though, and it's much appreciated.

Next on the agenda is a personal AC unit since she's already talking about how hot it is and it's only April!
