Has anybody every used the costume from this seller and wondering also if it is 501rst approved

The robes may have to be altered to fit you once you receive them.

We base approval based on how the costume looks on you, not on who sells it.

There are many people who have soft parts from this seller and they've been able to be approved (some with alterations of course).

I certainly have some opinions on that make, that's for sure... Let's say I'm not happy with my robes, and really should get to making my second set (I've got the fabric lol).

If you'd like to know more feel free to PM. Some people are quite happy with theirs.

I´ve the the same opinion about that robe. It was a good start, but the quality of the material are not the best. You have to revise parts. You would be happier to make your own robe after a while( or go to a local seamstress).

But, same as Cybermwe3 says, some ( and I know a few with that softparts) are quiet happy with theirs!

I've had mine for 3+ years and they've held up just fine. I needed to do some additional alterations when I first got them but so be it. My main issue with them is that they lack the draping on the front like you see in ROTJ. Now this isn't an issue with acceptance into the 501st as it isn't a requirement but personally you might have better luck with someone local who knows how to make something like this.

Mine holding up great as well Pretty much this however. The image on the page looks different to the end product (in that the image appears to have some kind of draping, pleating etc...). The reality is they are flat, and an odd shape with the way measurements are taken with arms on hips.

So fantastic start for the price, but when you see what TR3746 did in this thread: http://forcepike.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=218 you'll pretty much want that too, naturally Sadly, his mother offered to make that one for him, and she isn't available to make anymore

My second set will use about 10 meters of fabric if that helps. That should give enough fabric for draping, pleating, etc.... The FP robes have about 3 or so meters of fabric (at most?).

Yeah...that's the robe I covet without doubt.

These are all good points and thanks for the feedback ...

Seen the quality of it recently, I mean it looks ok, but the quality of it seems iffy. The inner lining is only attached in a few places so it can look a little odd.
