Hello all! BD50/RepublicUnicorn here.
I'll start with an intro. I'm an Imperial Officer from the Malaysian Outpost. I also happen to be an Unofficial Underaged member being only 16 :D I've been trooping with them since I was 14. I appreciate how they except me despite age because I can only share my passion for Star Wars with them :3
This was just last night!:

I'm the second Sub-Lieutenant Staff Officer from the left :3

Anyways, it's been two years since my Officer costume was tailored and I've grown by a lot. Time for a new costume! I chose to Shadow Guard because I'm fond of the colour and the armour. I'll be doing this with my cousin who is in Singapore and I aim to be the first Shadow Guard in the Malaysian Outpost and he aims to be the first Shadow Guard in the Singaporean Garrison.

I've been doing some research for the past week and I decided to start :D
I started with the templates for the shins:

I'll have more to show later :3

I was going through Ebay for Coveralls. Will this do?
Image
It comes with:
2 x Side Pockets
2 x Chest Pockets
1 x Open Back Pocket
1 x Ruler Pocket
I plan to keep the chest pocket if the chest armour blocks it from viewing. If it doesn't, I'll alter it to remove it. Hoping the side pockets don't show. The open back pocket will be blocked by the kama. The ruler pocket will be remove.

Unfortunately, all pockets will need to be removed to meet the standards laid out by the CRL when you apply for membership when you turn 18.

The shin armour should match that of Jango Fett and does not have a seam in the middle of it.

The seam was there because I folded the template in half :P Anyways, is it really the same as Jango's? If I remembered correctly, on Jango's shins, the middle area stood out more than the rest. Looking at this, it doesn't stand out:

Also looking at naphaniel's build(Awesome build, by the way), it's not like Jango's shins:

The middle area of Jango's shin does not stand out any further. As per the CRL...

Shins
For 501st approval:

Shin armor must be constructed with the same material and color as the armor and reflect the style of Jango Fett shins.

The shins you have referenced above in the game image are correct. The others are not.

After remaking the templates for the shins 3 times, I think I finally made the most accurate one. Here:

Criticism appreciated!

Getting there.

I am assuming you have seamless boots for use with the costume?
