My Carnor Jax WIP

So back in October I began work on a Carnor Jax build to use at events with my local Costuming Group the London Rogues. At the time when these pictures were taken I had done a test run of the helmet and the robes (which I can reverse and use for a standard Imperial Guard) were done. The helmet I am currently in the process of modifying to meet the CRL requirements....the varied visor shape, ect. The helmet I am using is a fibreglass mold which works pretty well aside from the ventilation issues which I've somewhat overcome by using a breathing tube that runs down from the helmet and under the robes.

For the visor i am using a clear plexiglass insert that I plan to cover with a red reflective one way mirror film.

This is a work in progress and I'll be adding more elements as I go. Next step after the helmet mods are done is the under armor build

Hopefully those aren't vent holes in the front of the helmet.... that wouldn't match up to the current CRL standards required by the 501st...

While the nose can have some interpetation, the crest should be raised and not just painted. Which ref are you using for the cloak. This should be a solid black velvet cloak with no red lining

Interesting...while I am completely unversed with Canor Jax's CRLs I do feel comfortable saying that no Imperial Guard (AotC, RotS, and RotJ) has an inner lining of their robes which are back. They are a burgandy/wine color. That is a really interesting concept though.

Carnor is the exception to this. The only reference that would even give a Wine look is from Series 1 Issue 6, in which its just to show highlights of the underside. I would stick with either with a black satin or black gaberdine fabric.

To date anyone who has been approved as CJ from my understanding has had black/black for the cloak... I stand to be corrected though
