Has anyone seen the rubies force pike? Opinions?

From the picture it would be ok for a prequel pike. But until I see in person hard to tell. Not bad at least for the price point.

The Rubies forcepike is molded hollow plastic from what I have seen.... same as any other halloween costume prop (think large axe or any other "big" weapon). It wouldn't hold up to the rigors of normal trooping and is a waste of time IMHO

While I haven't seen one personally I'd say for $25 you can make one out of a pool cue and some parts. It'll last a whole heck of a lot longer. That being said...I picked up two ski poles at a yard sale last year for $5 which means all I've had to spend to get them up and running as good pikes is some sanding (to remove the screened logo on them, some dremelings (to remove the plastics) and some epoxy putty to hold my parts on there (PVC for the grips, sink and faucet parts for the pommel, and a dryer ball thingy I cut up and glued to be the rasps).
