Found these boots and was wondering if these would be good if I removed the straps? Definitely a more affordable option until I can save up $300 for a nicer pair. What do you guys think?

Assuming they fit you and you remove the straps they may be acceptable for base standards depending on what the material looks like with the rest of the costume...
