I have started this on my local garrisons page so I thought I would start one here to:P
I am going for a ROTJ style guard.
Detailed itemized list of source locations and costings so far.
Source locations for products
Material -
DistinctiveFabric
Helmet -
FP
Boots -
C6
Force Pike -
C6
Expenses so far
Material - USD$158.16
Material postage - USD$64.26
Helmet (including postage, visor and lining) USD$300
Boots (including postage) USD$292
Force Pike - USD$159
Seamstress (A local Garrision memberl is making these) AUD$180
Total costs converted to Australian dollars $1132.56
I still need to get loads paint, gloss and loads of sanding paper. I think paint will cost a bit as I will be getting the paint color matched.
If anyone has some tips on colour matching that would be great. I shall update as I work on this more. At the moment I am just waiting on my helmet to come in and for a fabric sample so I can colour match the paint

Hi mate,
any chance you might be able to post up a picture of your fabric in good light? I might need me some eventually and would love to see it
On a different note, the mods may ask you to abbreviate the names of some of the manufacturers above, probably more the helmet manufacturer than anything else. Just so you know

Nice detailed vendor list for your Royal Guard build. Just don't let your significant other see the total cost

Yeah I will abbreviate the names now.
As for the fabric I am waiting on my seamstress to send me some pictures of the fabric. I have been told it is a very good match though. The fabric didn't cost to much to get sent over which I am happy with. The company I used upackaged it to make it smaller. Apparently when items are sent from the US the weight includeds volumetric weight. So if a item is long or an awkward shap you could be charged more.

finally got my fabric samples and they are the right colours and the right texture. I would highly recommend the place I got my fabric from, cheap and easy to deal with.

I just ordered fabric swatches from there. Glad to hear they were easy to deal with. Did you do red and dark burgundy?
On the boots, does the 8.5 - 14 US size range refer to men's sizes? If so, does anyone know of places that have them in women's sizes?
