Yeah, this guy's doing one heck of a job! Can't wait to see the finished product. And since I am 6'3'' (190 cms.) tall, the assembled costume should look pretty good.

Cheers!

Another update on the breastplate; the pieces have been fine-tuned (puttied and sanded) and are now ready for painting.

Notice the beveled edges, which IMO really enhance the overall look of the armour:

And on a side note (I really didn't want to start another thread) here are some pics of my custom-made bodysuit, ordered from a local dancewear company.

In the bottom pic you can see a detail of the belt with pouches (both are the kind used by police officers and security guards) and holster (the blaster is an E-11, but I'll upgrade to the proper DH-17 soon).

Cheers!

Armor is looking great Commander. It will be great to see it painted and fitting together with the rest of the garb.

Not sure about that, but you can drop him a line and find out! His username is lummaf and you can check some of his other work in the Shadow Guard section.

Cheers!

All right, now putting it all together...

The armour was assembled by way of a harness system, with the pieces glued on with industrial-strength Krazy Glue and epoxy... still a work in progress, but what do you think?
