The West Texas Garrison was at Ama-Con this weekend so I met with them for an "unofficial" troop.

Looks great!!
Can you post some oics of your foam solution, the back looks great. Your gloves look a little pale if anything.

Sorry, took awhile to get to taking it out !

First I marked and trimmed where the edge of the helmet would be and tapered to fit.

This is how it would set but I set it up between the red and burgundy outer robes.

Now, I know it looks "off" but it is sitting on my mannequin, so it's not a perfect fit for him !

Okay guys I scoured the depths of fabric online stores and found a close match !!!

This is called "Burgundy 60'' Solid Stretch Scuba Knit Fabric" from Stylish Fabric.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions !

Congrats, dwdj75! What pattern did you use to make your gloves? I've bought some of this fabric in hopes that it will match my inner robe better than dyeing the suede gloves I currently have (which I think might be the same ones you have lol).

Honestly just slapped my hand down, traced it, and added about 1/4" around it !

Here's a tutorial that is almost exactly how I did them.
