Buckle can be found at tandy leather - its a buckle blank with a greebliee added to it.
Please get with me so that we can discuss the soft goods I want to get my seamstress feed back on this too. Cause I think that the Kama should be Velvet on the outer side with gabardine backing on the back of it. Are you going to be adding robes to the top of it also.

I've tried taking as many pictures of both the red and shadow guard while playing force unleashed..
big reason was trying to figure if it was a Kama, or partial robe going all the way down under the backplate.... it appears to be a Kama.
Soft parts - under suit, will be a straight forward flight suit pattern from scratch tapering at the legs so there is not too much bulk there.
- Kama - I can't see it being velvet, but I'll take a look - and no I won't be doing outer robes at this time based on all the photos I have seen.
I can't recall the type of fabric we are going with, but it has the least amount of fade - and won't wrinkle as easily.
I'll head to the local Tandy - as I need to pick up the belt there as well - appears to be a 2 inch wide?

I only said Velvet for the Kama cause its just not a guard with out some velvet

When I do mine I'm going to be using the robes that I already have from mine which have velvet on them. The outer robe will end up being a
CAN HAVE. So no worries there.

Ya I hear ya - I think at some point I will do outer robes, maybe with some form of quick clasp, so with a quick flick of the hand the outer robe drops - to reveal the kick @ss dude underneath... LOL...
To me the rendering on the game shows what appears to be the same material - but again that is due to the artist.
I do have outer robes for a red guard at home - some kind of velvet - turns out is was not lined... I wonder how well it would take black dye?

				Kivas:
For the belt I would suggest getting the belt blank with snaps, part # 44518-00. The buckle is the plain rectangle metal buckle, part # 11688-00. And you will need to get some black leather dye. But they may have some belt blanks at the store, itself, already pre-dyed and ready to go
Lucious and I came to the conclusion that we will just treat this belt as if it were an Imperial Officer's belt, since all the references that we see has a round disc in the middle of the buckle.
Depending on how the finish looks on the belt buckle, you may have to scour it down and buff it out with some medium grade steel wool.
Go get one of those belt/hat greeblies from Elvis trooperfor the belt and you will be in good shape. This is how I will make SG belts. True Imperial Officer belts have a silver snap to the left of the buckle, SG belts don't have that.

Actually, instead of a template - to make things simpler and quicker could you just post your measurements?
i.e - total length of bell - side length, width of tang, and length of tang - which will utliamately give the angle needed to got to the side.
I hope that made sense.

Absolutely it makes sense. I just hope you can decipher what I have done for you. Instead of rattling off a bunch of numbers, I'll show you. It's not pretty, but I hope it will help you out.

That's perfect, the only number missing is the curvature along the side so that an angle can be cut.
Also, I didn't realize the tk bells are that long. No worries I can calc the ratios as worse come to worse I can get new bells (the TB bells are not as long).
I appreciate your help.
