I have a few update pics - not many - but slow and sure - I had an idea for the bucket but I can't seem to get the glow to work properly ...as yet.

Also, how wide did you all go with the tang? (middle part of the shoulder bell that extends down the arm)

I have it drawn out based on sizing from what I can grap from the pics - but kind of nervous to cut the bells.... :D :shadow:

ok wow, those got added rather large... as you can see already some natural weathering going on for the bucket - I have since added another layer of dullcote.

I'll Have Bill come up with a template to help you out with the Shoulder bells. Everything looks good. Let me know if I can help you out with the greeblies for the Saberpike. The other day my shadowguard helmet split in three pieces. :(

A template will certainly help with the fear factor :D

I need to take a closer look at the pics to see what I have locally for greeblies for the pike... right now trying to do a work up using an fx saber slide into a hilt and build from there... at least that's the plan.

well i got the pattern down pretty good - I'm just not happy with the top part. I'm really thinking of getting one of the construction kids and working off of that.
but there are certain pieces that need to be there.

This is from the first one that I did back last year in March. I have since then shortened down the couplers so that It is not so long. Those are the closest things that I have found to kinda give the same feel for it.

Image

Where my thumb is, is where I have the on and off switch from the first one. I know that in the FX Construction kits there is a piece that looks like the greeblie where I have the extension cord.

I also removed one of the couplers so instead of it being 5 its 4. This tremendously helped reduced the height of the weapon. Cause the first prototype was nine feet tall, Which made it kinda difficult to go around at the convention.

And here is your walk stance :)

Kivas.... I will get some tracing paper and trace out the template off of my bells for you. As soon as I can get it done, I will let you know.

Thanks much,I have mine drawn out- but want to be consistent with others - I have more work to do on the backplate.....as well I applied too much heat..
grrrr...

Gauntlets are seamed and primed as are the shin plates. -- so paint, sand, touch up and dullcote - done.

Foot plates - this wont take me long to make.

Undersuit & Kama - luckily I have a local Garrison friend who can sew so she is making them both for me.

Pike - to be done still.

Belt - need to find the buckle
