Thanks guys! :) I am pretty excited! Good thing I have "natural" padding so I don't have the helmet gap up front lol!!

Let me know. You will be fine. And you have foot clearance not to trip on the robes walking

Nice work Spoox! Here are some pics of my solution to "The Gap". This is a foam collar I made. The pics speak for themselves, and the black fabric is a synthetic silk (cheap) that I attached to the top side of the collar. This way the under robe doesn't "stick" to it and allows for better movement and less bunching...

It's not pretty, but since it's under the under robe...nobody will ever see it. Also included is a pic of me before and after the use of my collar....

It kinda reminds of me of football shoulder padding :) Does it get pretty hot under all that foam?

So is foam better than shoulder pads? or is it just a preference thing?

My shoulders have some padding sewn into them to provide the correct shape. Then the foam collar pushes the robes out to take care of "The Gap". And yes, some days it gets a little warm....but that's par for the course. In the immortal words of a Billy Crystal SNL character from years (decades) ago: "It's better to look marvelous, than to feel marvelous".

I like the foam padding idea! I might have to look into that :) My gap isn't that big but you can obviously tell im female lol. There might be a way to create a soft vader type shoulder armor that I could wear underneath.. I had a vader shoulder armor on my dummy when I was sewing the robes lol! I will play with that thanks!

Thanks Spoox, my robes should be ready in May, so not too far off.
However, I am in love (Love I tell you) with your red mirror visor! :)
So that is approved?

If you look at my profile pic on the side you can see that my visor is red but you can sort of see my eyes.
So I went and bought some Red mirror tint and will this weekend be making a new visor.
I will post some pictures up when I am done.
