It sits pretty flush until you have to move your arms. Then it pushes out because of the armor. Here's a shot of the back.

The Calf guards should be larger to cover up the boots.

This is a 360 view of the boot with the armor parts on and with them off

Do you also have a left or right photo of your costume?

And I've read a few remarks on others builds about the shins being too big.

I have seen that the shoulderbells have the right form.
Beside the belt that worries me a little bit i think the boots are too large for the shins.
You are using riding boots like stated in the CRL if i am correct.
In my opinion the boots are normal black leather boots which have no texture.
They are not knee high, but the shins are ending right bleow the knee.
So if you use the boots you allready have you have to make the shins longer.
Or try smooth non textured black leather boots with the shins and post some new pictures please.
I am sorry to trouble you but we have to correct the shadow CRL.
As far as it goes everything you made is up to the CRL except the belt where i can t see the incised lines.
So a great job done.

The boots are smooth non-textured riding boots as specified. They are replicas of the "Han Solo"/Imperial officer boots from Todd's Costumes. I'll make another set of shins that are taller and I just need to get some free time to pick up another belt blank to make one with the lines in it. Helping too many people try to get ready for Celebration.

Those are the style boots I wear for my Riding Boot style (Captain Boot). So making a taller shin will fix that gap between the suit and the top of the boot. Found the side photo. Good to go on the shoulder.

Also You can use others as a ref but no two individuals will have the same build on their body. So you have to have it built to your measurements. Hope that clarifies that up.

I have been approved. Replacement shins and grooves on belt to come.
