Here is a screen capture I found from the game. This is what we see on the top part of the back of the action figure cardbacking.

I noticed that this is more battle gray for the armor and helmet. Those shoulder bells, what do you think they used. Mando?

I think the TK could be mod for the abd armor, since the chest really looks like tK

So what color are you going with - a flat black? with a clear coat on top?

Sorry haven't posted pics, I was hoping to have some more of the pieces in for a more complete update.

I, personally, have never been a fan of overly shiny black if the intent of the costume is "shadow" or "stealth". With that said, I think a flat black with a clear coat would look just fine. In fact, my SG helmet was painted black ( I'm suspecting that this finish was maybe a satin, even though the can just said black), with no clear coat. I still may do that, but just from the paint job alone, the black shined on its own and I am leaning more to paint the armor (whenever I get it done) the same color so that it matches.

I think whatever finish you decide to do, just keep it consistant between both helmet and armor.

Well, I still don't necessarily subscribe to the belief that "Shadow" equals "stealth". The Amazing Disappearing Shadowtroopers in The Force Unleashed notwithstanding, "Shadow" still seems more a mark of elite status or special training/tasking than the white (or red, in these guys' case) troopers at the other end of the spectrum.

I think I will try some test pices with both flat and satin with a either clear or dullcote and see
what works.
