You shouldn't have any problems with the zipper on the boot. The over all look of the boot so what we are looking for on the costume. Plus with the strapping and Shin guards on there.

Where did you find these boots?

English riding boots are a good choice.

I'm guessing these would not be approved due to the snaps at the top?

Jackboots are too short for this style boot, Riding boots are the style you will need to go for. Per the game model there are no side straps on the boot.
