Sorry all, I've been slacking on the royal guard because I got my stormtrooper kit...!
Current status: I've been in touch with some local guards to help find some materials. Still unsure which fabric to choose for the inner robes but it looks like I will match with the outer
The gloves were from Dents.co.uk, model Helene, colour Berry (on sale for about £45).

The boots were from ebay, the ones with the removable bow that several people have gotten. I've had them for months and they still stink of turpentine or something but they look ok.
