There is no visual reference for a DL-44 blaster being used with this costume as far as I am aware. The only acceptable blaster for guards to date is the modified DH-17 heavy blaster (similar to a rebel fleet trooper blaster).

It's the right idea but the price point is extremely suspicious. Good riding boots usually don't sell for that low of a price... Even used. I'd be very leary of these because of that...

I have those boots for my AOTC-RG. Didn't buy off Amazon, but they're the exact same. I happen to like them; very comfortable for my small feet. Not real leather by any stretch of the imagination of course but they really do look it under your robes. Well worth the money IMO.
However, a few cavats... they are extremely thin (which can either be a good or bad thing); they don't breathe of course so your feet will sweat, but the zipper does allow in some air circulation. Really watch your calf measuring (and assume you will need 2-3 sizes larger than what you actually wear in tennis shoes). Get a really well padded insole because you'll need it -- Walmart's $10 ones are fine. The zipper is seen and obvious when the wind blows your robes up, but very concealed if your robes are right on top of your toes.

More concerned on how tall they would be and such. They should be the Riding boot length.
