My fabric came from the local fabric store (fabric land). I'll have to do some looking into wether they do anything online or not.
Cheers mate, that would be greatly appreciated if it's not too much trouble :) even if they want to try for a one off ;) I'll glad send them an email lol!

Hey guys, I found a great online store that wasn't to expensive either.

The store is distinctivefabric.com.

It cost me around $200 to get all the fabric and roar shipping to Australia.
They did not ship out of the US so I had to use hopshopgo which is PayPal.

I have yet to see the fabric as I had it shipped straight to the person making my robes. But I have a sample coming.

Hi there from Spain. Looking for the best velvet in the world? You can find it in Sevilla, Spain. If you search images about "Semana Santa in Sevilla" you'll find out that they have been wearing the inner robes for the last 500 years, and even the outer ones aswell (with some modifications).
I live far away from Sevilla but they ship me the velvet by post (note as is heavy it has high cost). You can find different shellers (not sure if posting webs is allowed). My velvet is the one they use to make " Virgin statue" robes, for their "Catholic Images in Semana Santa". I'm pretty sure there's no better velvet in the whole world, but be sure too that you pay it, and it's not cheap. (don't know either if I can post how much I paíd for 11 mts). If you ask for more than 10 mts you pay 30% less, and thats perfect for RG. Colours are awesome, fabric is rich, heavy but incredible.
So if you want the best look after: Terciopelo rojo fuerte , Sevilla.
Good luck and buy coolers too!!!
