So has anyone got a complete shadow guard together yet that they can show us ?
Got some pics of how you attached your armour to your suit etc ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Grant.

Anyone have good sources for shoulder bells and chest? Please PM me link if you have any. I think I can make the rest, except the helm.

Before I joined the forum and read the CRLs I was going to go with bent and formed sheet metal armor. Got a nice set of boot armor made up before scraping it to become a form for ones I'm rebuilding in plastic.
Here's some pics of my process going thru that.
Made my own sheet metal break to make the first ones. I'd abandoned the idea when I saw the armor all has to be of the same material ... and the chest was not something I feel I could do.

Cut Blanks

Using metal ones as forms

heh, Blade runner style Shadow guard armor.

I bent up these little extra strips and epoxied them in spots where I can loop a strap belt thru. Check the reference images closely, there are two straps running around each book calf, likely holding the shin plates on.

...like such. Modified the boots a bit to have a strap retainer so they're not falling down during wear.

That is really cool, love that the shins are made of metal.

Although TB bells are easier to mod - TK bells are the closer profile - TK's are what I used.

Before everyone freaks out:
Daughter 1 Father 0
he grabbed the wrong robes

When submitting these just make sure the Kama Belt is in the mock up and not the robes

A little late posting on this subject, but a friend of mine over on the Mandalorian Mercs makes Legacy-era Mando shoulder bells, and they're my pick for a base to work from:
I'll post pics tonight of how I trimmed mine up...

I'll show the process on one of my final-draft bells. I start by finding the center of the bottom edge, and making reference marks for a 97mm width (so it's pretty much an even 10cm once the trim is on):
Then I use an edge square to put the verticals in -- 1cm up is a mark for where the bottom curve will end, then 65mm for the actual edges:
35mm further up on the outer edge is where the angled edges end:
And then the bottom arc:
A cross-section of the car door trim I use to put the raised lip around the edge:
And my "learning draft" in place. I botched the placement of the trim, and the Bondo Plastic Metal reacted with the ABS. It eventually all fully cured after a few weeks, but I decided to just have another go and be more careful each step of the way. Also, I apologize for the lack of reference points with a black sweatshirt. I'll try to get another shot in a T-shirt, so you can see how it comes down to a couple inches above my elbow:
While I'm at it, here I am pleased to find my chest armor fits quite nicely (next is to extend the shoulder and side projections):
