				Good job!
Don't forget to remove those pockets on the undersuit!

I didn't think we needed to remove the back pockets since they would be under the kama? The side pockets are sewn down though.

Talk to your GML. You might be able to get away with leaving the back pockets on. But yes the sides will need to be sewn shut. They wanna pop open if you are in a combat stance lol. But leave that up to your GML. Luckily if you do leave them and they tell you no, its easy to take off.

Yes unfortunately this is on par with WTF stuff. Im sorry but I cant support him. I always push got others to get a resin cast helmet. I have a WTF helmet as well and it was such an enormous pain to finish. I still have issues with it. Hopefully the paint guy can get it solid and cleared without issues.

I had the same ''dimple/bubble'' on the left cheek too. As for the misalignment, I'm sorry to say that if you had follow Walt's method of joining the halfs together, you would have had a way better result.
Here is a link (not sure if it will work):
https://www.facebook.com/groups/waltstr ... 477927065/
and he also made a Live of about 20 minutes in 2020 on how to do it. Can't find the way to post it, but if you search
Guard helmet build part 1 in the Fb group, it's very clear how to do it. You should not have trimmed all the way to the helmet, but left an edge to put clips after putting the glue like this:

So when you trim after, the gaps are already filled. I would suggest putting and gluing some pieces inside the helmet so you have an edge to rest the second part on.

I actually did leave the flashing on when I glued it which is why I didn't realize it was going to be that badly aligned until I trimmed it off. Hopefully yours comes out better than mine did.

Armor is back from the painter and it looks AMAZING!!!!
splurging for a professional car painter really makes a difference.
Got a visor to put in the bucket which looks great... except you can't see thru it! Anyone have a good recommendation on where to get a good visor before i try ordering another?

Next up start strapping.
