Yup I think it is a TK front & Bounty hunter style back plate - but it would need to mate up to the
TK front properly.... so...

I think I am going to try taking out the tk back plate raised area (if that makes sense) and re-inset a flat square - seam it up all nice like.. :D

Ya belt buckle is for sure tie pilot.

anybody have any other renders from the game?

I do have some photos, but I haven't been given the "all clear" to distribute them, yet. As soon as I can, I will.

I agree that the Jango back plate would have to marry up to the TK chest piece. Let us know how the TK back plate mod goes. I don't think it will produce the right look, but I would like to see what can become of it.

Like I have said in other posts, I am working on an armor prototype. The thing that keeps hindering me is having the finances to finish up the prototype. The belts are an easy enough build. I make those anyway. I've done ab plate and shoulder bells, already. It is messing with other armor pieces that is the challenge. Lucky for me, I have a local Wookiee that helps me out!

I would love to have a prototype well by Christmas, but I won't be fooling myself. I think by the first of the year is an acceptable timeframe, though.

So, we shall see...

Ya It might be an effort in futility - but I don't have a vac table to sculpt a back plate - but I've got another iron in the fire to see if I can get help with that.

Do you have any pics of your shoulder bells? and are they ready for release/ production?

You also stated you alrady produce the belts - can you pm me please with pics etc.

I am not quite ready for production just yet. I modified some TK bells and did some bondo work. I still need to make some molds of the bells before going into production.

The vac form table that I have at my disposable has a heating element that is out. As soon as it is replaced and I get the molds created - so far that only mold I have is the ab plate - then I am in a position to mass produce.

The officers belts that I have made in the past aren't accurate for the Shadow Guard. I can send you a pic of what I have made. The only difference would that the officer's belts have that silver disk.

Actually, I do have an inaccurate "officer's belt" that is made of the belt blank that I intend to use for the Shadow Guard belts. I'd have to take a pic of it and PM it to you.

Thank for the info - I wasn't sure about using TK bells or not - do you think those look closer than TB bells?

Also, what are you using for the jumpsuit? making one? Can't use a flight suit due to zippers etc even modded I don't think it would look right.

Well the TB bell is basically a TK Bell with out the raised ridge. He sanded those down to make it smooth and then cut it into the shape.

As for the undersuit I'm working with my seamstress to get this part down. Me and Bill are kinda on the same page for working with the fabric GABARDINE. As soon as I can get a belt and ab plate to work off of I'm going to start sketching out WIP pictures to help folks with the costume.

Right now its a trial and error stage but your more than welcome to be a 3rd guinea pig on the project.

I'm not able to work on any of this this week cause of bills. What are your plans for the weapon?

As far as the weapon - I have one of those Fx construction kits - and looking at the emitter end I think I can use the Obi-wan one and then the sleeve itself is thin enough I should be able to put it into some kind of pike/pole/lamp thingy.... ya ya..technical term :D

Ya I thought the TB bells would work - just wasn't sure if there was another edge to look at or not.
I'll have to get my hands on a set as with the compound curves Sintra won't work...possibly I'll try it 1st tho just for giggles.

The ab section for me will be sintra - and the shin plates will be cake as I had made my Jango ones.
Same with the gauntlets they seem to be straight forward as well - seamless just like my clone gaunts.

I wouldn't have been opposed to a jumpsuit. But it was determined that a long sleeve shirt and trousers would work out fr the best. The jumpsuit could have been just as viable since th Rebel and Imperial flightsuits have a zipper flap to cover it up.

As for the TK bells, I got them off of an old TK set that I have laying around. I applied bond to smooth out the surface plane. It isn't pretty, but this is the work I have on the bells, so far. You will have to forgive the crappiness of the pic, it was taken on a camera phone.

I will most likely be molding everything in abs. Like I said, I am at the mercy of getting that heating element up and running.

Looking good, .... only concern I have with the trousers/shirt method is gaps showing around the mid section when moving around - not sure if it would be an issue or not -

But I thought some kind of plain black jumpsuit with an elastic around the midsection and zipper up the back would do the trick.

That won't be an issue. The trousers will have a drawstring in them to hold the shirt in place. The shirt should be long enough so that there won't be any exposed flesh when moving about.

The belt and kama would cover up any distinction between shirt and trousers, along with the armor placed where it is, the illusion can be made that it is a single piece garment, when really it isn't.
