Nice looking kit. I like the idea on the ab to tuck behind the belt.

My boots showed up today. All leather. No Zippers.



Gonna need a pair of boot hooks to get them on. Already had a boot jack to take them off.

Now I just need my BBB from WTF to show up.

Going great so far. keep it up and you’ll be trooping before too long.

Ok. Did a rough trim and starting to assemble.

I hope I'm doing this right. I put the assembly strip on the inside, as the gauntlets are smooth on the CRL. Going to fill the seams and sand it smooth.


Here's a test look of the shin armor and spats on my boots. I'm going to use Velcro strapping on the shins in roughly the spots of the blue tape. I didn't trim any length off of the shins when I got them from WTF. Elastic on the spats, again roughly where the tape is located.



Got the visor cut in the helmet. Working on gluing the two halves together this week. Really nervous about that. I did order a cooling kit from Troopacoola. Should be here in a day or two; one week shipping from the UK is pretty spot on.


What I don't know is how much to trim off of the "lip" of the helmet. Should that be trim to the shell of should there be some left to give it the appearance of thickness?

So... How badly have I screwed this up so far?

Do you have better pictures of the "lip" so we can see it better. Otherwise it's looking good so far.
