The liner doesn't really add to anything. Personally it would be hot to wear that under the helmet.

I finally have some updates! I bought a bucket, but unfortunately it is too small for my melon. So I cut it half and have started adding some shims to it so I can give myself some more room.

I was able to put some fiberglass around about half of the shims and will hopefully get the others held down by the end of the week. Also I ordered my under suit, boots, and gloves. The under suit and boots came in and here is a look of me in them.

The gloves should come in in a few weeks. After I finish expanding my bucket I plan on getting back to the pep armor. Also I think I will also go ahead and trim the bucket to have the narrower point but will need help knowing where to cut it. I think that is it until I finish the bucket, but will post some photos of my progress. Oh I almost forgot, what is the best way to remove the side pockets from pants? Would I just sew them closed or is it more involved?

Side pockets which are only a slit are normally covered by the kama.
So there should be no need to remove them or close the slit.
Just dont put anything bulky in them so they are seen.

Here are a few pictures of my helmet back in one piece with a rather ugly bondo job.

Now to get sanding to find out what areas need to be built up and reshaped as needed.

There is a lot of sanding in front of you.
But looks good so far.

Alright after three rounds of applying bondo and sanding, I am almost finished with this step. There are just a few divots that I need to fill.

After I fix them then I get to prime and sand again. :D
