Right, I don't see how I can remove it. The fabric for the front of the pocket is the same piece that goes all the way down the leg. At the top that one piece is cut at an angle to make the outside of the pocket. So unless I somehow sew on another piece to close the gap there this is money wasted then huh? Kinda annoyed their picture does not show this aggressive cut for the hip pockets otherwise I wouldn't have even considered it.

Maybe you can close it with the rest of some chest pocket or other pocket you want to remove.

If I just sew it shut with the seam still there would that be okay? It wont be an open pocket but there would be a strip. Otherwise anyone have any other ideas for flight suits that don't have pockets like this?

post your picture of this questioned part. I know I went just with a standard flight suit and the pockets where sewn on top.
