We don't have that law, none of our weapons need orange tips or other identifiers, whether it's E-11s on TKs or realistic machine guns on Stargate costumes. So long as our police are aware of what we are doing, it's fine.

As for not seeing it, yeah, I realise that (in fact I don't honestly even know why it's in as an option in the CRL), but it'll be fun now and then, to pull it out to thrill some kid in a photo. I managed to get a really nice burgundy leather holster for it as well, planning on wearing it opposite side to my arm slit.
