Re: Shadow Guard Questions
Hancock Fabric was having a sale here so I picked up the 5 yards of velveteen for the outer robe, the material for the inside of the robe and the kama material. I also picked up the items for the belt.
Does anyone have a good way of making the upper and lower grooves in the belt?
For some reason my pics won't upload.

For pictures, you will want to use something like photobucket and link the pictures to the forum using the img tags.
Also, on a side note, 5 yards for an outer cloak seems to be awful small.... of course it depends on the size of the trooper though... My AoTC cloak is approx 12 Yards of fabric for the outer part alone, never mind the lining...

Re: Shadow Guard Questions
The robe is 10 yards total for outer and inner. I went over it with two members who have done Royal Guards and they said it should be enough. The clerk at the store agreed with the five yards. But, if I'm short then I'll be back with a blemish and a "OOOPS".
Finished painting the helmet today with the Gloss Black. I have always done dirty and battle damaged costumes before, TB and CT. Having a clean shiny one is pretty cool.

P.s the Kama is made from the same fabric as the jumpsuit - not the velveteen.

Re: Shadow Guard Questions
Correct. I had different material for the outer robe, the liner and the kama.
