I got my outer cloak from Syfabics as well.
I got my burgundy at Joann, but I used a 40% off coupon so I came out not too bad price. Even if you get 8 yrds it counts as 1 cut. Still wasn't cheap but the quality makes up for it and it looks better.

I didn't get the coupon at joanne's for my burgundy fabric, but I figure the 40% I got off for my outer robe fabric I got there, kinda makes up for the fabric price I got at syfabric. I just hope it evens out. At least I am not alone!
