You'd probably want to find something like that but without the heel plate. The plate is designed to add extra stability to the heel for riding and may set off metal detectors (if they are present) at events you may want to attend.

yeah i see that, just thought those metal strips can be removed or if there in built etc. that would be a pain.!! lol

Most boots that I have seen that have heel plates would require the entire heel to be replaced if you wanted to remove the plate.... not saying it can't be done

I think my best option is to just buy these and if the metal heel drives me nuts i will go to the local shoe guy near me and get him to re fit another heel if so...
