A question about gloves

I'm about a month out from finishing my AOTC rd Guard with a helmet in my Garage,
outer robes 1/2 done,
fabric for the inner robes, and a nice pair of boots.
So far so good, but now have a question about gloves.

In the Movie screen shots, the gloves go under the cuffs on the inner robe but on the CRL the gloves go over and appear to be leather. I also found a post highlighting some suede gloves from museum replicas, that got the stamp of approval but seem over sized, while finding another post recommending another set of gloves.

Here's my question, what gloves would be acceptable?

These are the other gloves that got the stamp of approval, but I'm just not happy with the look, rather go with the first set.
